About
About Hawthorn Data
We help companies license their operating records to AI developers, and we sit on the company's side of the table while doing it.
Why we started
AI developers want models that can handle real office work, and the best material for that is the record a company leaves behind while doing it: SOPs, tickets, project history, CRM notes and the rest. Buyers have started paying for it. Most companies don't know that yet, and the ones that do rarely know what their records are worth, which buyers to trust, or what should never leave the building.
We started Hawthorn Data to close that gap. We look at what you have, tell you plainly whether it's worth licensing, and help you do it carefully if it is.
How we work
- We start with a description. The assessment asks what you keep, not for the records themselves.
- You choose the buyer. We bring options and explain the trade-offs. Your company's name isn't shared until you agree.
- Privacy comes first. Customer, employee and account details are removed before transfer, and you review samples of the cleaned data.
- Your lawyer signs off. We help you get the terms right, but we aren't a law firm, and the license should be reviewed by your own counsel.
How we get paid
Buyers pay us a finder's fee when a deal closes. You don't pay us anything. We'll tell you who is paying us before you sign.
